Here's some of what I've been up to lately: The Audio Destructinators. A collective of musicians that I'm chancellorizing (chancelling?). We aim to explore an extremely broad spectrum of music and sound, and of where and when it might appear. Concert halls, parking lots, urban environments, processionals along the beach, etc. Often unexpected and unannounced, we're spreading spontaneous audio awesomeness throughout southern California!

Now that I have time to breathe, here's what's coming over the summer...

- CLARINETFEST!! July 21-25, UT Austin, Austin, TX. mostlydifferent.com will have a booth with t-shirts and sheet music (and maybe other stuff...??) for sale, and I'll be generally around to shoot the breeze and talk clarinet and music in general. Also at the booth will be guest woodwind technician Angela Wells.

- Sheet Music - Now prepping for sale:

• Movement for clarinet and piano
• Super Legend Quest Fantasy III Mobile Edition for clarinet choir
• Rafelmusik, Volume 1 for various duets and quartets (eta early July)
• All Right! for clarinet solo
• Castleventure for string orchestra
• First Concerto for Contrabassoon with chamber orchestra. Also, piano reduction
and probably more. I'm also looking into selling music by a couple other composers. More on that as it happens.

- New Music - Some exciting projects that I'm not divulging details of yet. One group might play things very loud, another group may appear unexpectedly.

- T-Shirts - New designs, really!! I have the artwork for the contrabassoon, and there are a couple other musical ones in the works.

My masters' mid-residence recital shindig hootenany with FABULOUS PRIZES will be on February 20th at 5:00pm at the Wild Beast at CalArts. Should be a great time with all sorts of... stuff... to watch and listen to.
